Wind and rain control WRS 101
In the event of wind and/or rain, the Wind and Rain Control receives a corresponding signal from the respective sensor and sends a closing command to the ventilation actuators, pneumatic valves or SHEVS control centre. This protects flaps and domelights from being damaged or torn off by strong winds. It also prevents rain from penetrating into the interior of the building and from damaging valuable fixtures or equipment.
The WRS 101 can be used as an independent ventilation control. Besides a menu for function setting, the control has a WIFI function to download software updates and to connect and operate the control with the app K + G ControlCenter.
The signal to the control centre or ventilation control is made via two separate potential-free changeover contacts. To prevent dew or ice from accumulating on the sensor surface and triggering a false alarm or impairing its functionality, the sensor surface of the rain sensor can be permanently heated.

Options
PKM 101: This option module is installed in SHEV Control Centres/Controls. It has two potential-free contacts for forwarding selectable system messages.
WRM 101:The module WRM 101 is installed in SHEV Control Centres and Controls. In the event of wind/rain, it receives a corresponding signal from the wind/rain sensor and sends a closing command to the Control Centre/Control.
Since the sensitivity is adjustable for both sensors, the module can be used under different climatic conditions. In addition to the terminals for the sensors, the option has a potential-free contact (PFC) for forwarding selectable messages.
LEM 101:This option module is installed in SHEV Control Centres/Controls. It enables ventilation in automatic mode, CLOSE mode, or manual mode.
An automatic switch (e.g. thermostat or timer) and a selector switch can be connected for this purpose. The operating mode is selected via the selector switch.
Accessories
RS3-WM 1: For a more compact and easier installation, the WM 1 anemometer and RS 3 rain sensor are combined on one mounting bracket. This allows them to be positioned on a roof quickly and without great effort, for example on the matching pedestal. When mounting, the recommendations for positioning the sensors must be observed.
To prevent dew or ice from accumulating on the sensor surface and triggering a false signal or impairing its functionality, the surface of the rain sensor can be heated.
SK: Pedestal (40 cm high) for mounting of wind sensor WM 1 and rain sensor RS 2 on a flat roof
MB: Shackle for pole mounting of wind sensor WM 1 and rain sensor RS 2 (for tube diameter up to 60 mm)
KE:The contact extension unit KE 2 has six 230 V~ relais to extend a Wind and Rain Control. The potential-free contacts of the KE 2 can be also be used for any other purposes. Each contact extension unit has terminals that can be used to control other KE 2 units.
We supply contact extension units in different special versions on request (e.g. with integrated time switch to automatically close 230 V~ ventilation actuators).
